Stabilization Drills by Didier Poppe - An Oldie but a Goodie

Didier Poppe has over 40 years experience working with Athletics Federations in France and across Europe and the Pacific Islands, but is well known to most in this part of the world for the work he’s done with his Throws program in New Zealand.

He primarily works with talented junior and senior athletes, so obviously don’t go mindlessly copying any of his drills with your younger athletes without adjusting them to make them age appropriate first.

While this collection of exercises are designed for throwers, there’s no reason they can’t be used more broadly to develop any athlete’s stability, balance, and coordination.
